MIKE MORALES started his career in Porto local clubbing scene at the young age of 17. Soon he gained notoriety, and was asked to join a highly acclaimed Portuguese management company, which featured some of Portugal's most renowned artists.

In the past few years, Mike's been working with the dynamic duo Frank Maurel and Carlos Fauvrelle, not only in studio but also on the label Lajja Recordings. Mike's production has paid off, with releases like the Sandy Rivera's "Changes" remix on DEFECTED UK, his original debut single on LAJJA RECORDINGS "Dream Shattered"

- which got massive feedback from worldwide acclaimed artists, such has Oscar G, Tom Stephan, Behrouz, Chus and Ceballos, Evolved, John Digweed, That Kid Chris, Sasha and Danny Tenaglia (just to name a few)-, and 21st Century Fux "Sunspirit" remixes (along with Maurel and Fauvrelle) on INVERSUS US.

As a dj, Mike has played in Spain, Hungary, all over Portugal, either at Clubs and at Big Events and Festivals, in the United States with his "Titanium Sessions U.S. Tour" in New Jersey, New York City and Boston, the "Drumz R' Us" Tour in NYC and Boston, in Tokyo Japan at "Session" held at Womb Club, and most recently in Bulgaria for Metropolis' Viva Sound Factory in Blagoevgrad and at the famous Chervilo Club in Sofia.
He has also played alonside with Artists like Deep Dish, Erick Morillo, Behrouz, Dj Vibe, Little Louie Vega, Tom Stephan, Rui Da Silva, Peace Division, Angel Moraes, Lexicon Avenue, Omid 16B, David Morales, Harry Choo Choo Romero, Sandy Rivera, Trendroid, Muzzaik, That Kid Chris, Hex Hector, Low End Specialists, Dj Rooster & Sammy Peralta, Midnight Society... and many more...

His International recognition came right after his "Dream Shattered" release as he was nicknamed as the "Portuguese Deep Disher", and has been named as one "Portugal's Best Export Talents" and with a "Bright Looking Future".

Most recently started a new production project with Carlos Fauvrelle & Frank Maurel:
they are the "PORTUGUESE MAFIA".

They have remixed Chus and Ceballos hit "Wrong About Me" for their label STEREO-PRODUCTIONS, and most recently they re-worked John Creamer & Stephane K's worldwide hit "I Wish You Were Here" for Japanese label SESSION TRAX, getting massive feedback and support from Victor Calderone, Dj Vibe, Danny Tenaglia, Peter Bailey, Richie Santana... etc...
Merging the Pure sounds of Underground, and making sure the Real tough Sounds come back to life, and to the Dance Music Scene is their true aim. Portuguese Mafia's concept gathers the influences of Portugal's "Old" and "Finest" days, with fresh new sounds, drum layers and patterns.

As someone once said "Beats for days", but we rather say, Beats for years!!! More to come real soon, from the Portuguese House Dons!
New projects, collaborations and remixes are about to see the light of day really really soon, including Mike's very own label MOOMBA RECORDINGS!

"Can You Say MOOMBA?" We sure can!

It sure seems to be a bright looking future for this talented artist, dj, producer & architect.
