Even though I have used many aliases in the past, I'm best known for my work as 'DELON' which is a twist of my middle name. Born and raised in Colombo-Sri Lanka. I have started my career as a DJ at the age of 19. As the first step in my career as a DJ, I have joined 'X-Treme Entertainment' which is one of the most renowned entertainment companies in Sri Lanka.
I was specialized in mostly R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, and House music. Aside from my role in X-Treme Entertainment, I also undertook to play at private parties, corporate events and birthday parties which steadily built up my popularity within the Colombo Nightlife community. My steadily rising career, however, took an unfortunate turn, as I had to leave Sri Lanka in late 2007.
I was back in Sri Lanka two years later, with much regret about being out of Colombo nightlife for so long and eager to get back into it. My skills remained unchanged and my music library was up-to-date and ever-growing. In 2009 I was back in the scene, and moving hand-in-hand with the ever-changing tastes and trends in Colombo nightlife.
Now I specialize in Progressive House, Tech House, Deep Tech and Techno. My skills and experience are the key ingredients that go into selecting my playlists and reading the crowds to make sure that you stay on the dance floor moving and grooving.
