Marcus, the guy behind Broombeck, is making music for quite a long time.
Being a video and music producer, he is the creative head of several projects and labels.
Broombeck, his personal project, has been existing since 2008 and already back then it was clear to
see (and hear) that Marcus has a great contemporary sense. Many releases followed with labels such
as HERZBLUT RECORDINGS, ELEVATE, OCTOPUS, MISTAKES MUSIC, SLEAZE, FLASH
REC., MBF, OPOSSUM REC. and TERMINAL M. Tracks like the „The Clapper“ and „Mono
Turn“ stayed in the front ranks of the Beatport charts for several weeks. Being supported by Richie
Hawtin, Deadmau5, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Sébastien Léger, Monika Kruse, Karotte, Ricardo
Villalobos, Steve Lawler, Marco Carola, Stephan Bodzin, Loco Dice, Umek etc portrays the quality
of his hits but also of himself. His sound is somewhere between classic Techno and extroverted
Tech House. Since 2009 Broombeck performs, as a DJ and live act, at selected clubs not only in
Germany. In 2014 Broombeck receives two PARTYSAN Awards - as "Newcomer of the year
2013" (# 6) and "Live Act of the year 2013" (# 10). Also in Faze Mag Poll Broombeck gets
awarded, as producer for Felix Kröcher he made it to the top (# 1) as a "Producer of the Year 2013”!
